Glade S Price

WASHINGTON TERRACE – Glade S Price passed away on April 1, 2014. He was born on December 19, 1928 in Provo, Utah, a son of Scott B. and Clara Halverson Price. He was raised in Ogden, graduated from Ogden High School, Weber College, and University of Utah.
Glade married Connie Hokanson on February 15, 1951 in the Logan LDS Temple.
He worked for Rainbow Market, which was family owned and operated until joining Morton Salt Company where he worked for 34 years. He retired as the District Sales Manager of the Intermountain area. He also served on the Board of Directors of Rayco Corporation for many years.
Glade was an active High Priest in the Washington Terrace 13 th Ward and over the years has served a mission in the Mexican Mission, in Bishoprics, High Councils and many other callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Glade and Connie served as welfare service missionaries in the Ogden LDS Employment Center.
Surviving are his wife of Washington Terrace, three sons and four daughters, Celeste (Ronald) Taylor, Orem; Debbie (Rex) Mumford, Huntsville; Adair (Scott) Macfarlane, Fruit Heights; Gregory (Lynita) Price, Farr West; Sterling (Shellee) Price, Layton; Laura (Craig) Syme, Frederick, MD; Darwin (Suzy) Price, West Layton; and foster daughter, Sally Clayton, Ogden. He has 31 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren with three on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Hal T. Price and Waldo E. Price.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Washington Terrace 13 th Ward, 4855 South 300 West. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
