Gladys Overson

GLADYS OVERSON

1925-2018

Mom was born on March 25, 1925, in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Winifred Waite.  She married Raymond Overson on August 18, 1947.  They had two children, Donald and Connie.  On March 8, 1952, Raymond died in a tragic work accident. She never remarried and raised their two young children on her own. On August 14th, she left this life to enjoy a wonderful celebration.

At her request no memorial services will be held, she will be buried next to her husband.

Survived by daughter Connie (John) Powell, daughter-in-law Jeanette; grandchildren: Tamra (Mike) Wirthlin, Mitchell Haycock, Micah (Katie) Powell, Jennie (Paul) George, Rachel Powell; great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Alexis, Daysha, Braxton, Ashley, Macy, and Alyzia; nieces and nephews John (Michelle) Hall, Scott (Jane) Hall, Carrie (Charlie) Reece, Kelley Hall, and Chad Davis.  Preceded in death by her son Donald and her sister, Phyllis.  Arrangements under the direction of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.  Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com.
