Glen Lee Francom
FRUIT HEIGHTS – Glen Lee Francom, 94, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015.
He was born January 5, 1921 in Levan, Utah the son of Harvey Ray and Louise Lundsteen Francom.
Glen married Betty Isabelle Bracken on January 9, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. They moved to Kaysville, Utah in 1952 and then moved to Fruit Heights in 1975.
He served in the Army Air Corps in WWII and then worked at Hill Air Force Base for over thirty years. He retired as Superintendent of the Aircraft Maintenance Division.
He was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed golf and playing with his grandkids.
Glen and Betty have three children, 14 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Sondra (Richard) Farris, Farmington; Michael (Joan) Francom, Kaysville; Carolyn (Dix) Merrill, Centerville; and one brother, Lynn Francom, St. George.
Preceded in death by his wife Betty, parents, brothers and sisters, Zella, Wendell, Gordon, Donna, Carl, Earl and one grandson, Cameron.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road, where military honors will be accorded.
Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.
