Glen Halver Garner

June 27, 1946 ~ September 18, 2015

Glen Halver Garner, 69, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born June 27, 1946, a son of Halver Berrett and Maurine Johns Garner.

Glen is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He loved country western music and biking; he rode his three-wheeled bike all over North Ogden. He enjoyed candy bars and Burger King Whopper Juniors. He had an extraordinary memory, a great sense of humor and never, ever complained about his challenges.

Because of the genuine love and care his parents provided during his life, he was able to live longer and enjoy many opportunities amid life’s challenges.

Glen is survived by one brother, Vern (Becky) Garner, Farr West; and one sister, Sharon (Steve) Bailey, Puyallup, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Thanks to the staff at Lomond Peak Nursing & Rehabilitation for their loving support and compassionate care over the last eight years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
