Glen H. Schiffman
OGDEN – Glen Howard Schiffman, 86, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in Ogden.
Glen was born September 19, 1921 in Logan, a son of Albert and Evelyn Barrett Schiffman.
On June 14, 1944, Glen married Beth Rallison in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
Glen was raised and educated in Logan, graduating from Logan High School. Glen attended the University of Montana and graduated from Idaho State College with a degree in pharmacy.
Prior to his retirement, Glen was a pharmacist at McKay-Dee Hospital.
Glen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he was a High Priest.
Glen served as PTA President of Gramercy Elementary School. Glen was a 49’ers football fan and enjoyed square dancing, bowling, gardening, telling stories, jokes and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife Beth of Ogden; three children, LuAnn (Andy) Kellett, West Haven; Glen Alan (Debbie) Schiffman, South Ogden; Janice (Tom) Buck, Wyoming; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is one brother, Lloyd (Pauline) Schiffman, Roy.
Preceding Glen in death were his daughter, Karen Ball, his parents, eight brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
