Glen Davis Sederholm
TAYLOR - Our loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Glen Davis Sederholm, of Taylor, Utah passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008 surrounded by his loving family.
Glen was born April 2, 1921 in Brigham City, Utah to Rudolph Willsie and Alice Jane Davis Sederholm. He grew up in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School where he excelled in sports. He also loved hunting and fishing.
He married Vivian Marie Burnett on November 15, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Shortly after they were married, he was called into the Army and served for two years in the Pacific, Philippines, and Japan. During his service he received the Purple Heart.
Glen worked at the Arsenal, Producers Live Stock, and then went into business for himself buying and selling cattle for G & S Livestock. Later he worked for the LDS Church.
He gave many hours of service in his church callings. He served faithfully in the Elders and Seventies Presidencies, as a Scout Master, and in Sunday School and Bishoprics of the Ogden 10th and the Taylor Wards. Glen and Vivian served in the London, England Temple Mission where he was set apart as a Sealer. He served in that capacity in the London and Ogden Temples. Together they served as ordinance workers for many years.
