Glenn Eugene Ray CLEARFIELD – Glenn Eugene Ray, 62, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007 in Burlington County, New Jersey. He was born April 8, 1945 to Violet Josephine Grove, in Westernport, MD. He grew up and attended public schools there, and has been living in the Clearfield and Ogden area for the last fourteen years. Glenn married Betty Ann Stewart on June 21, 1976 in Tyler Texas. As a young man he entered the National Guard and later joined the Army. He lived many places throughout the U.S. during his Army career, and also in Germany and Korea while in the service. Glenn enjoyed working for C. R. England as a truck driver and has many friends there for the last fourteen years. He loved being a soldier and spending time with his family and grandchildren. His hobbies were to work in his garden and flower beds. He enjoyed fishing and football as well as his Chihuahuas. Glenn is survived by his wife Betty, mother Violet, son, Cody (Brandy) Ray, Clearfield; daughter, Narissa Grogg, Gladwin, MI; step-sons, Jeffery (Barbara) Kinsey, Irving, TX; William (Betty) Kinsey, Irving, TX; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and sisters, Julie Jacobs, Frostburg, MD and Linda Grove, Westernport, MD. Preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, James and Elizabeth Ray. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary 1050 South State. Friends and family may call Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
