Glenn Reader

July 2, 1945 — April 4, 2018

Glenn E. Reader

Glenn E. Reader, 72, passed away in his home on April 4, 2018.  He was born July 2, 1945 in Ogden UT, the son of Elmer H. and Priscilla Reader.  He attended Clearfield High and served in the U.S. Navy Seabees as Proud Vietnam Vet. Glenn married Judith (Skaar) Reader and was married for 51 years.  He retired from Hill AFB and went on to teach at DATC Welding Shop where he was welding instructor where he enjoyed working with all the students.  Glenn had a great sense of humor and his laugh would fill a room. He loved camping, fishing, traveling, gambling, music, old cars and John Wayne movies. His biggest love was his family.  He enjoyed sharing many stories with his grandkids about life.   He was always involved in coaching the kids sporting events and if not he was cheering the loudest in the stands.

Surviving are his wife Judith and his five children, Jody (Dave) Rose, Eric Reader, Joy (Bart) Saxey, Jill (Ed) Guptill and Kris (Jolene) Reader.  Glenn was very proud of his 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
