Glenn Stevens

October 15, 1932 — December 16, 2018

Glenn O. Stevens, 86, slipped away peacefully in his sleep, December 16, 2018 at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden Utah.

Glenn was born October 15, 1932 to John Orville and Genelle Plotner Stevens in Kelso, Cowlitz, Washington. Raised as an only child, Glenn was preceded in death by his two infant brothers, John Jerome (Dec. 28, 1934- Dec. 29, 1934) and Jerry Allen (Jan. 8, 1938- Jan. 11, 1938).

Glenn’s greatest legacy was his forever love story with his angel wife, Lola Mae Richardson (Dec. 23, 1933- Sept. 10, 2005) and their family, Shannon Stevens Wright (Greg), Cindy Lee (Sept. 14, 1956- Sept. 15, 1956) David Orville Stevens (Megan Williams), Lanae Marie (Apr. 28, 1959- May 1, 1959).

Glenn met Lola Mae while living in Washington and they were married on December 26, 1953 in Goldendale, Washington and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple.

Glenn was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership callings. He also served proudly in the United States Air Force in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, two daughters and two brothers.

Glenn O. Stevens will be fondly remembered riding his three wheeled bike around the neighborhood, miniature paintings on envelopes, and wood carvings. He loved his family and we are so thankful that he is finally reunited with so many that he has missed for so long.

Glenn and Lola Mae are both laid to rest at the Kaysville City Cemetery.

At his request, no funeral service was held.

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
