Gloria Caudill

Gloria Gardner Caudill, of Centerville, passed away peacefully, November 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family, due to complications from cancer surgery.

Gloria was born June 26, 1951in Richfield, Utah. She spent her early childhood years in Richfield and then went to Stuttgart, Germany while her father served as a Mission President for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Upon returning to Richfield, she attended Richfield schools, graduating from Richfield High School in 1969. After graduation, she then went to work in Jackson Hole, Wyoming where she met her first husband, John Crabtree. They later divorced after moving to Eugene, Oregon where she raised her son, Justin. While in Eugene, she worked for Selco Credit Union and Charles P. Thompson and Associates. Later, she moved back to Bountiful and worked for several Salt Lake City law firms and the Utah Attorney General as a legal secretary.

Gloria will always be "Pinky," "Globug," "Grandma Glo" and "HB." She loved to laugh and had a keen, witty sense of humor. She was totally devoted to her two grandsons and they called her their "awesome grandma." She was a loving and kind wife, mother, daughter, mother-in-law and sister. She will always be remembered for her positive and encouraging attitude in the face of adversity.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Dave, mother Genevieve, son Justin, daughter-in-law Tiffany, grandsons Sam and Issac, sisters Julie McKenzie-Welch and husband Al, Joyce, Marianne Sorensen and husband Kendall. She was preceded in death by her father Blythe.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff at LDS Hospital for their loving and compassionate care. Special thanks go to Dr. Mark Dodson and Dr. Nathan Richards.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, Bountiful, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Sunday evening November 24, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
