Gloria Bruce Heiner passed away unexpectedly due to a heart condition on October 22, 2021, in Ogden. Mom was 83 years old. She was born to Willard Wilson Bruce and Evva Emma Chadwick in Afton, Wyoming on June 14, 1938. Mom attended Ogden High School graduating in 1957. She married George Franklin Heiner in 1963 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1966.

Mom was an awesome homemaker. She made the interests of her family members her own and was their greatest supporter. Mom was kind, loving and without guile. Her unconditional love and genuine service was experienced by all. She willingly accepted service assignments and fulfilled them wholeheartedly. Mom had deep faith in Jesus Christ and delighted in her active membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mom leaves behind her beloved husband, George Heiner; sister, Elaine Bruce (John) Wilson; daughter, Kathleen (Jim) Stemler; sons, Scott (Colleen), Paul (Angie), Mark Heiner, and Jenni Heiner, Adam (Wendy), and she was a second mom to Edie Jo (Scott) Fisher; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mom was preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Wendy.

Funeral services for mom will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Boulevard. Private family visitation will be held. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
