OGDEN a€" Gloria Jean Allen Otterstrom, 80, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born December 17, 1927 in Pocatello, Idaho, a daughter of Harold Henderson and Eva Arvilla Simmons Allen.

On January 28, 1945, Gloria married Kenneth N. Otterstrom in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She had lived in Layton and Huntsville, and wintered in Quartzsite, Arizona.

She worked at King''s Department Store as a bookkeeper and was also a real estate agent.

Gloria was a member of the Quartzsite Roadrunner Gem and Mineral Club, and a lifetime member of the Golden Spike Gem and Mineral Club and Good Sam Club. She was an avid crafter and silversmith. She also loved to scrapbook and was an expert seamstress. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving are her husband of Ogden; four sons and three daughters, Kenneth Allen (Carol) Otterstrom, Citrus Heights, CA; Wylie R. (Vickie) Otterstrom, Farr West; Joe (Becky) Otterstrom and Mike Otterstrom, both of Clearfield; Ann (Bob) Petro, West Point; Dayna Jagger, Ogden; Peggy (Stan) Ward, Clearfield; 29 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and her dog, J.P.

Gloria is also survived by her sister, JoAnn (Walt) Gottschalk, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were one daughter, Christine Otterstrom, her son-in-law, Topper, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Valley View Ward Chapel, 2455 North Valley View Dr., Layton, Utah.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday at the Ward Chapel 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Primary Children''s Medical Center.
