Gloria P. Tripp
RIVERDALE – Gloria Patricia Tripp, 67, died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in Ogden.
She was born April 19, 1940 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Enoch Leroy and Anna Ruth Lundin Tripp.
Gloria graduated from Wasatch High School in Heber City. She lived in Ogden for the majority of her life and in Riverdale the past four years.
She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for three years and as a cargo scheduler at Hill Air Force Base for 18 years.
Gloria enjoyed playing cards at the Riverdale Senior Center with her 92 year-old mother! She loved spending time in the yard tending to her flowers.
Surviving are one son and four daughters, Brett (Christy) Emmett, Clinton; Deborah Ann Tripp, Brigham City; Jewel Patricia Martinez, Camela Sue Martinez, Evelyn Marie Hashlamoun, Ogden; and seven grandchildren.
Also surviving are her mother, Anna, one brother, John R. Tripp, and four sisters, Sylvia (Steve) Dayton, Springville, UT; Kathy Flora Peterson, Darlene, and Julie Elaine Vaught.
She was preceded in death by her father and two daughters, Denise Lee Tripp and Bonnie Jo Emmett.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
