Gordon L. Boren

Gordon L. Boren, 75, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
He was born February 12, 1939 in Provo, Utah the son of Eldwin and Murran Elizabeth Lockhart Boren.
Gordon married Myra Corrine Ogden on April 30, 1960 in Manti Utah Temple.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Civil Servant at HAFB retiring in 1993.
Gordon was a pilot and involved in Aviation for many years. He had his Airframe and Power Plant rating, with the knowledge and skills to fabricate several Experimental Aircraft.
Gordon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including snowmobiling, waterskiing and aviation aerobatics. He enjoyed passing the love of aviation to his children and grandchildren and was supportive of many family sports and activities.
Surviving are his children: Teresa Tunbridge, Kristina Boren Lively Bowman, Gregory (Gina), daughter-in-law, Callie, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, siblings, Lenn, Innis, Naomi, Neldon and Jennette. Preceded in death by his wife, Corrine and son, Roland.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 So., Roy.
Friends may visit family Monday from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Clinton City Cemetery.
