“Gordy”

Gordon “Gordy” Schuh passed away November 9, 2018 at his home in Bountiful, Utah from complications of Parkinson’s disease.

He was born December 6, 1941 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Raymond and Bertha Kempen Schuh.

Gordon served in the US Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in the 60’s and then met the love of his life, Linda Louise Sayre, and they were married on August 3, 1968.  Together they had four children.

He was an Account Manager for a food broker in the Salt Lake area for over 35 years.  He was very active in his Church, serving as the Parish Council President, heading many fundraisers and sang in the church choir.

He never missed a Boy Scout function with his boys or a softball game of his daughter’s.  He loved to fish, camp and spend time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons Christopher (Heather), Stephen (Jennifer) and daughter Stefanie; ten grandchildren and one great-grandson.  He is also survived by his seven brothers and five sisters.   Preceded in death by a son Tony, sister Donna and brother Matt.

The family would like to thank the VA Hospital and Comfort Worx Hospice Care.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am, Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 1800 South Orchard Dr. Bountiful, Utah.
