Grant Terry Evans, 71, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at his home. He was born March 17, 1944 in Ogden, UT to Grant and Vera Hildt Evans. He married Judith Taylor on November 25, 1966 and they are the parents of three daughters.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree from WSU and a Graduate Degree from the U of U. He was employed as a Physician’s Assistant for many years and was loved and admired by many.
Terry served faithfully in the LDS Church in many capacities including Elders Quorum President, Bishopric in the student ward at Weber State University, Scouts, Stake Young Men’s Presidency and many more.
He was an avid fisherman with a love of the outdoors. In his younger years he was very athletic. He loved University of Utah football and basketball. He served in the Kiwanis Club.
Terry is survived by his wife Judith, daughters Lisa (Greg) Johnson, Kaysville; Andrea (Brian) Hatch, Clinton; Julie (Jared) Johnson, Syracuse; nine grandchildren, and his sister Shirley (Fred) Smith, Washington Terrace.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 10th Ward, 1039 E. Crestwood Rd. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 N. Main and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
