Greg Elder
Our husband, father, brother, uncle and friend Greg Elder passed away Saturday, December 14, 2013 of heart complications at the age of 47.
He was born December 3, 1966 to Glen and Carol Elder. He was raised in Kaysville, Utah and attended Davis High School. He married Michelle Uribe on July 11, 2009. Greg was talented with his hands, he could fix anything. He worked in HVAC many years with Carls Jr. Restaurants.
Greg was very animated and extremely active and we always knew he was around. He took after the Elder men with his quick wit and endless jokes. He loved camping, four wheeling, boating, fishing, and especially snowmobiling. Greg always “flew by the seat of his pants” and was up for any wild adventurous trip or discovering new places with his family and friends. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan win or lose. He will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help others. Forever in our hearts he will stay.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Michelle, daughters Makell, Ashley, stepdaughter Skylyn, son Devin, brothers, Ken (Mary), Pocatello, ID; Scott (Pam), Kaysville; Kirk (Gina), Roy; sister Linda (Dave) Maybury, Kaysville; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
