Gregg Wiseman
Gregg was never a traditionalist, so neither will this be. He knew what he wanted out of life and made no apologies for who he was. He was the kind of person who could talk to a rock and make a friend for life.
He loved talking to fans at the track and to any racer he came across. He could walk into a pit where he didn’t know anyone and walk away with new friends. He genuinely cared about people he knew. And when it came to racing, he loved all of it. The people, the travel, the fans, the track crew and especially the people we raced with. We made so many incredible friends that have become our family. He said many times that we are truly, truly blessed and that is so true!.
Gregg loved to collect, but never went for the usual things. What he looked for was anything that interested him or was a little different. He had over 10,000 business cards and the collection is still growing.
Gregg was definitely the idea man. He had more plans than he had time or money to do with but that never stopped him. If he could dream it, it went into the mix. Whether or not it became reality never bothered him, because he still believed in “someday.
In keeping with Gregg’s non-traditional style, there will not be a formal viewing or funeral, but a wake at our house at 2756 S 4700 W, Taylor, Utah on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 2 to 6 p.m. to celebrate the friends and good times that Gregg had with us.
There will be tears and laughter, true stories and maybe a dose or two of fiction. ;)
