Gregory Paul Phancenek

It is with great sadness the family of Gregory Phancenek announces the unexpected passing of Gregory in March at his home in Ogden, Utah.

Gregory was born in Mount Vernon, WA and grew up in Bellingham, Washington and attended schools in Ferndale, Washington and graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.

During these times he became a concert pianist, a downhill ski racer on Mt. Baker Ski Team, and a member of Seattle Kendo Kai (Kendo Club).

He was with Whatcom County Superior Court in Bellingham, WA and moved to Salt Lake County District Attorneys Office as a Paralegal in June of 2019.

Gregory will be lovingly remembered and missed by his mother Yuriko and his father Paul of Ogden, Utah; and a cousin, Lana in Blaine, Minnesota; aunt, Taeko; uncle, Masami; and cousins, Mari, Misato and Tsubasa in Japan.
