FARMINGTON a€" Guy Earl Hess, 48, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011.

He was born on June 26, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Earl E. and Ann Malan Hess.

Guy had resided in Kaysville, Peach Tree City, Georgia; and Logan.

He was a member of the LDS Church and served a mission in the Billings Montana Mission. Guy received his Eagle Scout.

He loved skiing, catering, traveling, family and was a DJ, known as Uncle Hester for Radio Z104 in Logan.

Surviving are his son, Malan Guy Hess, Peach Tree City, Georgia; three daughters, Victoria Stauffer, Ogden; Cynthia Tamez and Remy Ann Hess, Peach Tree City, Georgia; parents, Earl and Ann Hess, Farmington; three sisters, DeAnn (Blake) Archibald, North Port, Alabama; Jill (Tim) Brinton, Tiburon, California; and Lisa (Tad) Hansen, Layton.

Preceded in death by his brother, Dean Alan Hess.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
