Gwen Lazenby Chappell

KAYSVILLE –Gwen Lazenby Chappell, 77, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at her home. She has resided in Kaysville for 57 years.

She was born October 31, 1937 in Delta, Utah the daughter of Leslie and Sarah Christensen Lazenby.

Gwen married Bryce C. Chappell on November 22, 1958 in Delta, Utah.

She was an active member of the Kaysville 4 ^th Ward and in the Relief Society.

Gwen enjoyed camping, ATV riding, spending time with family, gardening, sewing and quilting.

Surviving are her loving husband Bryce Chappell of 57 years, Kaysville; sons, Clint B. (Keri) Chappell, Layton; Dan L. Chappell, Kaysville; daughter, Aleece Chappell, Brigham City; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother Frank Fowles, Salt Lake; two sisters, Jeanette Sampson, Delta; and Colleen Morrill, Ogden.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Sterling Lazenby.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 4 ^th Ward, 875 E. 200 N., Kaysville. Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
