We mourn at the passing of our dear loved one Gwendolyn A. Roundy, 74. Gwen passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in Redding, California.

Gwen was born in Penn Yan, New York, on June 25, 1940 to William and Muriel Larder.

Gwen lived a full life. She enjoyed being involved in her children’s activities and volunteered for numerous roles. They played, laughed and grew as a family under her caring tutelage. Her commitment to her children made a lasting impression on their lives. After her children left home, she found pleasure in crocheting and working with the kids in the church nursery. She always cherished and enjoyed the laughter of children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin L Roundy and her Granddaughter Samantha Archer.

She is survived by her sister Joyce LaPan, her grown children, Cheryl Barkley, Donald Archer, Patricia Durham and Michael Archer, as well as her grown children Kim Tait-Hollinger, Tami Hansen, and LaDee Roundy, from her marriage to Ed. Gwen is further survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with burial following at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to A Brand New Day, Specialized Care Facility in Redding, California who made her final years as pleasant as possible.
