Hailey Nichole Buh

1990 – 2017

Hailey Nichole Buh passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Kanosh, Millard County, Utah.  Hailey was born on October 1, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Gary and Kimberly (Holbrook) Buh.

Hailey was only twenty-seven when she died, and words cannot come close to explaining the loss of a child--the loss of a wonderful daughter, sister, grandchild, niece, cousin, loved one, mother, and friend.

Parents are not supposed to be the ones left behind. They want their children to be the ones who will stand one day and express how much their parents will be missed.

Hailey always wanted to be the mother of a large family, and she fiercely loved her two children, and also the three children of her fiancée, Andre. It is difficult to understand why Hailey was taken from this earth when she was so needed. Her children did not have the opportunity to spend enough time with her, but everyone who cared about Hailey can help by continuing to love and support her children, her brother Hayden, and her family.

She had great compassion for others and spent countless hours in the hospital when her uncle Jared was ill and her grandpa J.Dell was injured. She just knew that they needed comfort, and she gave it without thought.

So many people have reached out since Hailey’s death.  They want her family to know how important she was in their lives. They want her children to know she was a fierce “Momma Bear” who would do anything for them.

Hailey leaves behind her fiancée, Andre Thomas Boyd; her two precious children: Demarion Hope 9, and Dreyah Gilson 5, and Andre’s three children, Leilani 10, Paityn 6, and Callie 2;  devoted parents Kimberly Holbrook and Curtis Holt; her father, Gary Buh; her beloved brother, Hayden; grandparents, J.Dell and Jacqueline Holbrook and Michael and Karla Buh; valued loved ones: Russell Gilson, and Antonio Hope; her uncles: Jonathan (Jennifer) Holbrook, Ben Holbrook, Jerid (Jennifer) Buh; her aunts: Jeannie (Jeff) Fleig, Catherine (Spencer) Clark, Melissa (Jason) Reese; cousins: Jonathan, Abigail, Hannah, Truman, Dylan, Mya, Spencer, Jaxon, Porter (deceased), and Holden (deceased); additional cousins; and countless friends

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East where friends may visit family Friday, November 24, 2017, from 6:00–8:00 P.M., and Saturday, Nov. 25th from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services.  Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, Utah.
