Hal E. Higgs SOUTH OGDEN – Hal Eugene Higgs, 55, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Ogden Regional Medical Center. He was born September 25, 1951 in Ogden, a son of Bill F. and Helen Marjorie Pamp Higgs. On July 1, 1971, Hal married Linda Marie Heath in Ogden. He attended schools in Utah and Nebraska. Hal was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. Hal loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed antiques, especially restoring and collecting Tonka toys. He liked watching movies, telling jokes, staying busy, work, and was the most loving and caring husband and father. Surviving are his wife of South Ogden; two sons, Hal E (Jennifer) Higgs, Jr., Salt Lake City; and Robert L. Higgs (Alan),Ogden. Also surviving are two sisters, Kay Bradley, Kirkland, WA; Cindy Peery, Omaha, NE; and one brother, Kent Higgs, Ogden. Hal was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one brother, Robert Dickson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Email condolences to the family at: www.lindquistmortuary.com
