Hal H Manning
Hal H Manning passed away in the quiet morning hours on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at his home.
Hal was born June 26, 1954, the son of Harold E and LaDell Hess Manning.
He enjoyed a wonderful childhood and lived his entire life in Farmington. He graduated from Davis High in 1972.
He married Donna Henderson on May 2, 1973. They were blessed with a daughter and two sons. They later divorced.
In his youth, he loved to play the guitar. Often you could find him playing songs from the Beatles and the Beach Boys. But his passion was being a firefighter. He served for 35 years on the Farmington Fire Department. He also served as an ambulance driver and EMT. His fellow firefighters were truly his brothers.
Hal also worked at the South Davis Bubble/Rec. Center for several years. Many a Saturday night you would find him locking up the center after hockey games and other activities. He truly enjoyed working with and being around the kids at the center.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Hal is survived by his daughter, Shannon Louise (Ben) Stricklin; sons Corry Lloyd Manning and Reo
James (Juliana) Manning, his sister, Shauna (Anthony) Martin and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
