Hannah May Burk
Hannah May Burk, born May 18, 2018 in Murray, Utah, passed away December 14, 2020 in Salt Lake City due to complications related to a lifelong disability. Hannah was born with Asparagine Synthesis Deficiency Disorder, limiting her brain functions but not her sweet spirit.
Hannah is loved by her surviving parents Steven Timothy Burk and Tiffany Heber Burk and two older brothers; Peter and Aaron. Hannah was included by her adoring family in hiking, swimming, horse riding, concerts, theatre, museum, camping, and theme-park trips.
She was supported by a large extended family as well as fabulous therapists who helped her parents learn her preferences toward the color red, cello music, holding her Belle doll, and snuggling in her parents’ arms. Though she never walked, talked, nor even drank from a bottle, Hannah contributed a lively and calming presence that is dearly missed.
Her family and loved ones take comfort that she is released from her imperfect body and dances in heaven with the Prince of Peace. We await the glorious morn when Christ comes again with our perfect angel.
