Harlan G. Shaw
Harlan passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at his home in Layton, Utah.
He was born in April 22, 1920 in Blackfoot, Idaho son of George and Belva Huff Shaw.
He married Amanda B. Shaw on June 12, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Harlan served in the Navy during World War II and retired from the Navy and Hill Air Force Base as a Civil Air Policeman.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
He loved fishing, cooking, walking and flying.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Scott Shaw, Joseph Harlan Shaw of Layton; daughter Carolyn Jean Sutton, IN; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one sister Mildred Porter.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, So. Ogden.
