Harland Lee Genta ‘Harley’

July 19, 1944 ~ August 4, 2016

Harley passed away peacefully at his home on August 4, 2016. He was born to Joseph Henry Genta and Carol Anderson in Mt. View, Wyoming. He had lived in Wyoming, California and Utah. He attended school in Davis County.

Harley proudly served in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart and the Silver Star while in Vietnam.

He worked in construction for many years and later worked at and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Harley was always a hard worker.

He loved riding his motorcycle, traveling the countryside, and wherever a winding road might take him. Ride on brother. He enjoyed camping and hiking with his wife and dog every change he had.

He is survived by his wife, Kellyanne, son, HD (April) Genta, and three grandchildren; daughter, Torie & stepson Jonathan Toney; brothers: Rod (Irene) Genta, Wayne Genta; sisters: Carol Jo Genta and Minnie (Brent) Larson; half sisters: Judy Jacobson, Kathy Nielson and Joan Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private services were held for family.
