Harold Childs Giles

Harold Childs Giles passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in Big River, CA.

He was born April 3, 1941, in Los Angeles, CA, to Mary Childs Giles and Marion J. Giles.

He grew up in Bellflower, CA and graduated from Bellflower High, Class of 1959.

Harold graduated from Victorville Community College and was employed as an electronic technician for many years. He later worked as a security guard. He enjoyed working on cars, building with wood, taking walks, traveling, fishing and rock and gem clubs. 

He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church.

Harold is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Olds, West Point; Nancy Giles, Roy; sister-in-law Dorothy Giles, La Habra, CA; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mickie.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014,  at 11 A.M. at the West Point Cemetery, 40 North 4000 West.
