Harold W. Welker WASHINGTON TERRACE – Harold W. Welker, 81, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at his home. He was born November 5, 1927 in Newburg, Missouri, a son of Leonard Rance and Dollie Grayson Welker. Harold married Afton Welker in August of 1957 in Mexico. Afton preceded him in death on December 19, 1993. He worked for many years in the heating and air conditioning industry for the Barlow Company. Harold was a member of the Ogden Coin Club. He enjoyed metal detecting, coin collecting, reading, crossword puzzles and John Wayne movies. Surviving are one son and three daughters, James (MaryLou) Pidd, Kerry Welker, Erin Arion, Judy (Mickey) Braun, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Lois Hamija. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1719 Combe Road. Funeral Directors, Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
