Harry Houston Keil

October 9, 1928 ~ June 18, 2016

Beloved husband of Carole Jean Bingham (Bashford) Keil, he passed away peacefully surrounded by family in St. George, Utah.  Harry was born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada to James Wesley Keil and Cora Edith Houston.  His grandfather, Charles A. Keil, was dear to him.  A proud fourth generation farmer in Kent County, Ontario, Harry also loved his horses and his dogs and enjoyed skiing.  Harry became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Harry will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of life and family, and being a fair and honest man.

Father of Martha (and Anna) and Charlie (and Cathy), he is also survived by sister Dorothy Clark, nephew James (and Ruth) Clark, and cousin David (and Julie) Rhodes.  He was also father to Tom Bashford, Kent (and Lynda) Bashford, Sharon (and Mark) Christensen, Karla (and Marty) Phipps, and Kelly (and Chris) Ward and grandpa to 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is to be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist‘s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
