Harry “Buzzy” Kent
June 14, 1924 ~ November 6, 2015
Harry Kent, 91, passed away on November 6, 2015 at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home. Harry was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Harry married Janice Terry on May 19, 1956 in Ogden, Utah.
Harry and his twin sister, Esther, were born on June 14, 1924 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Harry and Emma Hesse Kent. After the passing of their father in 1927, the family moved to Wilson Lane in Ogden, Utah. He attended Weber High School before working at Utah Canning.
During World War II, Harry, his two brothers, and his sister all served honorably in the military. Following the war, he was employed by Swift and Company and later by Weber State University and retired in 1988.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Janice Terry Kent; his children, Gregg (Kimberly) Kent, Karen (Craig) Golden, Janalee (Stan) Renshaw, and Judy Kent; brothers, Ted Kent, Ned Kent; sister, Esther Kent; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Harry was preceded in death by his sons Kevin Kent, Douglas Kent; sister, Emmy Lou Burnham; and great-grandson, Corban Kent.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
