Harvey J. Yoder, 84, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017.  He was born on January 30, 1933, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Walter Harvey and Velma Maxine Phillips Yoder. He moved to Ogden, Utah, and resided there for 60 years with the last five years in Perry, UT.

He married Beverly J. Downs on May 12, 1951 in Ogden, UT.

Harvey worked as a driver and after several years retired from Wonder Bread.

He was a lifetime NRA Member.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, and shooting.

Harvey is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Beverly of Perry; sons, Michael of Perry; Richard of Perry, Randy (Judy) of Farr West, and Roger of Malad, ID; daughters, Julie (Rick) Giordano of West Haven and Sandra (Scott) Edmonds of Malad, ID; 22 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Becky Carr.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Duane and George Yoder; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
