Hazel LaRee Keller

SUNSET a€" LaRee Keller passed away on October 30, 2009 at age 78. She was born September 2, 1931 in Crystal, Idaho, a daughter of Floyd and Rissie Denning. She graduated from Weber High School and Weber State University with a Bachelor''s Degree in History.

LaRee married Don Nielsen and they were later divorced. She married Kenneth Keller on November 20, 1956. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings including Relief Society President and Primary President. She enjoyed spending time with her family, golfing, attending the temple, homemaking and cooking. She will always be remembered for her Christ-like love and selfless service to her family and friends.

Surviving are her husband Ken, sons Gary (Julianne) Nielsen and Scott (Janina) Keller; daughters Marilyn (Anthony) Romero, Judy Keller, Kathleen (Tim) Palen, and Lisa (Dennis) James; 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Bill (Della) and Lamar Denning; three sisters, Alifair (Melvin) Lewis, Joyce (Larry) Garn, and Jeannie Patrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dale, sister Nadine and two grandchildren, Michael and Daniel.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
