Hazel Skouson Walker
1926-2018
Hazel Skouson Walker, passed away Wednesday November 21, 2018 in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born April 10, 1926 in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Mexico and spent the majority of her childhood in El Paso, Texas. Married James Eckersley, Delbert Jensen, and Bob Walker.
Hazel worked as Item Manger at Hill Air Force Base, she was part of the Federal Women’s Programs and had received numerous awards.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed callings in the Relief Society and Young Women’s. She loved to travel, enjoyed dancing, and visiting family.
To her, family was the most important, she loved her family.
She is survived by her children; James Jensen, Chris Jensen, Mark Walker; grandchildren Jerel Jensen (deceased), Eric Jensen (deceased), Brittany Holland, Shaela Shifflett, Mark Walker Jr., James Jensen, Derek Jensen and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husbands and two sisters Eveletta Black and Ruth Bradshaw.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
