Heidi Chamberlain
NORTH OGDEN – Heidi Jorgensen Chamberlain, 49, died early Friday morning, March 20, 2009, at South Davis Community Hospital in Bountiful, Utah after a long and valiant attempt to recover from complications of heart surgery in October of 2008.
She was born April 9, 1959 in Ogden, a daughter of Glen Walker and Wilma T. Woolsey Jorgensen.
Heidi married Greg J. Chamberlain on June 20, 1975 in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on August 21, 1976.
She had lived in Roy, Ogden, and North Ogden. She attended North Park Elementary, Sandridge Junior High, Roy High, and graduated from Ogden High School.
Heidi was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints North Ogden 4th Ward where she served in the Primary.
Heidi loved family get-togethers and hanging around her friends. She loved to travel, spending time in the outdoors riding ATV’s, fishing, and especially her new found love, boating.
Surviving are her devoted husband Greg, North Ogden; two daughters and two sons, Michelle (James) Worley, Harrisville; Ryan Chamberlain, North Ogden; Jennifer (Evan) Price, Roy; Matthew Chamberlain, North Ogden; and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters, Stephen Jorgensen, Ogden; Tamara Jorgensen, Roy; Charlene (James) Carter, Roy; Jeffery Jorgensen, Roy; Robin (Mike) Cederquist, Hooper; and Guy Jorgensen, Roy. She is also survived by her absolute best friend and confidant, Kathy Mason.
Heidi was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law, and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., with Bishop Brad Howell of the North Ogden 4th Ward, officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
