Helen Summers Carnahan, 90, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007.
She was born September 13, 1916 in Riverdale, to Wilford L. and Kate Thompson Summers.
Helen lived most of her life in Clinton and graduated from Davis High School, class of 1935.
She worked for the Davis County school lunch program for ten years and Smith''s Food Town in Roy for many years.
Helen married Cleo Clinton Carnahan on November 10, 1937. Their vows were solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 10, 1939. Cleo preceded her in death on May 20, 1984.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she served in many callings including, Primary president, Young Women''s secretary and temple worker.
Helen is survived by two children, David and Marie Carnahan, Sunset; Kathy Carnahan Barber and Allen Barber, Wellsville; seven grandchildren, Shayne (deceased) and Tami Carnahan, Benton and Melissa Carnahan, Jason and Kattie Carnahan Earl, Dr. Andrew and Shelly Barber, Dr. Ryan and Allison Barber Moses, Christopher and Angela Kate Barber Baldwin, and Ryan and Amanda Barber Garner; and 13 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
A viewing will be held Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
