Helen E. DeHart
OGDEN a" Helen Elizabeth Farrell DeHart, 88, died Monday, December 13, 2010 at McKay-Dee Hospital of causes incident to age.
She was born February 22, 1922 in Ogden, a daughter of Parley James and Hazel Marie Jackson Farrell.
Helen married Clarence "Curly" DeHart on October 1, 1942 in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Curly preceded her in death July 10, 1976.
She was raised and educated in Ogden.
Helen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Relief Society, Primary and Young Women''s organizations.
She worked at Defense Depot Ogden and later Fernwood Candy and Ice Cream.
Helen was a member of the Golf City Ladies Association and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, crafts and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, Farrell (Angie) DeHart, Gaylene (Byron) DeLair, Janice (Richard) Burrows, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and her brother, Glen (Norma) Farrell.
Preceding Helen in death were her husband Clarence, her son, Donald DeHart, her parents and one brother, Wayne Farrell.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Family will meet with friends at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
