NORTH OGDEN - Helen Walberg Larsen Evans, 93, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Ogden.

She was born November 11, 1916 in North Ogden, a daughter of John Martin and Clara Marie Iversen Larsen. She lived in Utah, Arizona, and the territories of Alaska and Wisconsin.

On November 15, 1939, Helen married Harold J Evans in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised 10 children: John Harold Evans (Beverly Barclay), Max J Evans (Sallie Couser), Douglas Earl Evans (Paula Kersbergen a€" deceased, Raylene Demke), Richard James Evans (1944-1946), Dale Vaughn Evans (Corlene Croxford), Robin Carl Evans (1947-1974), Barry William Evans (Frances Flores), Martha Elaine Evans Schumacher, Stephan Dennis Evans (Susan Carver), Cindy Evans Brunker (Chris Brunker); 31 grandchildren and 71 great-grandchildren. Harold preceded her in death.

She was a lifelong faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Helen loved her family above all and was beloved of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She worked at St. Benedict''s Hospital (Ogden Regional Hospital) nursery until her retirement.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the North Ogden 3rd Ward Chapel, 386 East Elberta Dr.

Inurnment, Ogden City Cemetery.
