Helen Fae Fife
OGDEN – Helen Fae Brown Fife, 92, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2007 with her family at her side.
She was born May 18, 1914, in Centerville, Utah, to Christopher Hodkin and Sarah (Stoddard) Brown. She was the eldest of three children.
Fae married John K Brown on May 29, 1933. They later divorced. She married Raymond E. Fife and he died December 29, 1966.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She retired from the U. S. Postal Service after 30 years of service.
Fae is survived by her son, Hal K. (Elaine) Brown, Farmington, Utah; and her two daughters, Joan B. Benton (Daniel-deceased) Layton, Utah; Jackie (Dennis) McCubbin, Riverdale, Utah.
She leaves a posterity of eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Fae was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Maxine Schulthies and her brother, Glen “Little Jack” L. Brown.
She loved being with her family and she will greatly be missed.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Family will meet friends on Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 6 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
