OGDEN a€" Our precious mother returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born August 17, 1925 in Ogden daughter of Guy Earl and Phoebe Helen Naylor Dalton.

She was raised in Providence and Ogden Utah. She was proud to serve her country as a civilian during World War II working on B-17''s. She later worked for 25 years at IRS.

Helen married Thomas Finn in Carlin, Nevada on June 14, 1950 and they returned to Ogden to start their family.

Helen''s greatest passion in life were sharing relationships and spending time with her family and friends.

She loved to travel and savored all the many beauties of nature.

Surviving are her children, Julie (Steve) Halvorson, Salt Lake City; Thomas (Lisa) Finn, and Pamela Ponder, both of North Ogden; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Also surviving is one brother, Ormus Dalton, Clinton.

Preceding Helen in death were her spouse, parents, brother Guy Dalton, sister Vera McCarthy and Snowball.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will meet friends at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
