Helen Nadine Ford
NORTH OGDEN – Helen Nadine Ford, 77, crossed over on Friday, April 2, 2010 at her home in North Ogden.
She was born September 3, 1932 in Ashley, Illinois, the daughter of Delbert and Helen George Wolfe.
Nadine married Frank Ford on August 4, 1954. They had three children, Debbie, Craig, and Cole.
She lived in Illinois, Peru, Missouri, and in Utah.
Nadine was a registered nurse who worked in a variety of hospitals, two of which included Davis North and a graveyard shift nurse at Thiokol Inc.
She is a benevolent spirit that put the needs and desires of others before her own. Nadine was a Christian, who taught her children the importance of keeping your word, earning respect, being honest unto yourself, and to others.
As children, we were allowed the freedom to develop our spiritual beliefs – through our individual experience. We also learned the value of maintaining a consistent work ethic, as she lead by example. To her, all of these traits were the measure of anyone’s sense of values.
She was “always there” for anyone, at anytime, for any reason. Nadine would always express her words with love, sincerity, encouragement, and pride. Nadine is a magnificent spirit. She was a wonderful wife, an outstanding mother, and our best friend. She is loved, and respected by family, friends, and all of her neighbors. Nadine is, and will always be, in our thoughts, our memories, and in our hearts, as we continue down this path, on the journey of life.
We love you Mom! We will meet with you again.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Craig Ford, Cole Ford, Debbie Turnbull, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is one brother, Larry Wolfe.
Cremation under the direction of Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary.
