Helen Louise Hill

Helen Louise Cornfeld Hill, 88, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. She was born on December 2, 1929 in Topeka, Kansas, to Russell Porter and Agnes Louise Redding. Her family moved to Southern California where mom attended Catholic School, married and started her family.
She was married to George Azvedo and they had four children together and were later divorced. She married David Cornfeld and he passed away after many wonderful years together. She married Carl Hill in 2005.
Mom’s two passions, where her children and music. One of her many professions was singing. She also was a Physician’s Assistant, Interior Designer and later in life received her Bachelor’s Degree from San Francisco College and became a Substance Abuse Counselor. She was talented in too many ways to mention.
Mom enjoyed being a wife and mother. She was like a bear with her cubs when it came to her children. She was a private person but was also very social. Along with music, she loved to travel. She spent time traveling with both her husband’s, David and Carl.
Helen is survived by her son, Jim Cornfeld; daughter, Cathy (Vern) Draper; 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Sister Rose Marie Redding. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Anthony Cornfeld and George Joseph Azvedo; three husbands, George Patrick Azvedo, Daniel Cornfeld, and Carl Hill; and her parents.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 13, at 1 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 1100 E. 5550 S., South Ogden, Utah 84403 with a graveside service after Mass at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden, Utah 84403. A luncheon will be held at Holy Family Church after the graveside service. All acquaintances are welcome to all services. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
