Helen W. Mosher
OGDEN – Helen Bernice Wright Mosher, 68, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at her son’s home of cancer. She was born March 15, 1939, in Missouri, daughter of Willard and Edith (Adamson) Wright. Helen’s early years were spent in Burley, Idaho; her adult life in Ogden.
Helen married Donald Hay Mosher on December 1, 1961, in Ogden. This marriage produced a son, Ricky Dean, who survives. Also surviving are three Mosher stepsons: Walter of Bountiful; Leonard of Riverdale; and Kyle of Sunset; and two stepdaughters: Lillian Mosher Sonner and Evelyn Mosher Hartman, both of Ogden; and 28 step-grandchildren.
Also surviving are five Wright brothers: George, Denver, CO; Rex, Ogden; Earl, Ogden; Kenneth, Ogden; David, Burley, ID; and one sister, Marsha Schwindeman, Burley, ID.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and six brothers and sisters.
Helen thrived on service to others in the name of Jesus. She taught children for 30 years at Head Start and children’s Sunday school at her beloved church, Christian Worship Center. She was a C.N.A. and cared for the elderly in their homes and was involved in the Prison Ministry.
Helen loved God’s creation and expressed that love, in part, by camping, traveling with friends, and gardening.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., with Pastor Dean Sisk officiating.
