Helen Janet Driebusch Sizemore
Helen Janet Driebusch Sizemore was born to William and Florence Driebusch of Rockford, Illinois on July 28, 1926. Mom moved from Illinois to Utah to work at the Dee Hospital in the Army Nursing Corp. During her third year of nursing school she married Pat Sizemore on March 29, 1947. Mom and Dad spent many years as snowbirds in Arizona. Dad passed away two days after celebrating their 62nd wedding anniversary in 2009.
Mom was a devoted member of the Kaysville Bible Church. She believed her salvation came through faith in Jesus Christ.
Her hobbies included quilting, swimming, line dancing, and painting. She received many ribbons at the State and County fairs. She loved to cook, especially desserts. She always had a hug, a smile, and a cookie.
She is survived by three children, Patrick (Linda), Janet (David), Bret (Yvonne), one sister, Marilyn, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren (one on the way).
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Michael and a brother, Geoff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit with family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
