Helen Steed Taylor

Clinton resident, Helen S. Taylor passed away at the Iron County Rest Home on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

She was born March 18, 1918 in Hooper, Utah to William R. and Janet Frew Steed. On December 9, 1936, Helen married Jesse L. Taylor. He preceded her in death in November of 1977.

She retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1976.

She loved to travel! For 19 years she traveled in her motor home to 42 states and Mexico. Her hobbies included making quilts and wedding gowns and spending time with family, especially her great-great-grandchildren.

Helen is survived by two daughters, Janet Blanch, Parowan; Kathleen Clontz, Ogden; and her son-in-law, Roger Blanch, Parowan. A daughter, Sheryl Price, passed away December 6, 2003. She has seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren. One great-grandson is deceased.

Friends may visit with family on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Clinton City Cemetery, 750 West 80 North.
