Helen B. Tedder, 86, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 18, 1924 in Ogden, Utah to Benjamin H. and Hannah Teresa Toone Bitton.
On December 3, 1945, Helen married Terry Don Tedder in Columbus, Kansas.
She was an active member of the Roy Christian Church.
Helen had worked for Wonder Bread Bakery, Hill Air Force Base, Shupe Williams Candy Store, and mainly as an excellent homemaker and mother.
She enjoyed quilting and crocheting with the ladies from the church called the "Crafty Cuties".
She is survived by her husband, Terry; their son, Terry L. (Kathy) Tedder; their daughter, Teresa A. (Bill) Anderson; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Donna Butters, Marlin Speas, Vera Hurlburt and Leon Bitton.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Little Gale, Grace Bowen, and one brother, Raymond Bitton.
The family wishes to thank all the caregivers of Applegate Homecare and Hospice, especially to Becky, Jessica and Shonna, for the love and care they gave to Helen.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 25th at 2 p.m. at the Roy Christian Church, 4347 South 1900 West.
Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Thursday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.
Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
Helen felt very blessed and was well aware of those who are not as fortunate. She gave to many charities including the Helping Hands Ministry at her church who provides food and assistance to those in need.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Helping Hands Ministry at the Roy Christian Church, 4347 South 1900 West.
