OGDEN a€" Helen Iris Larson Terkelson, 83, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at Washington Terrace Nursing Center.

She was born November 24, 1924 in Coal City, Utah, to Joseph and Mary Lucentia Cox Larson. She grew up in Mt. Pleasant and Ogden, Utah, attending schools in Fairview, Mt. Pleasant and Ogden.

Helen married George F. Terkelson on June 12, 1943 in Ogden. He preceded her in death in 1995.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Jefferson 1st Ward. She enjoyed temple work.

Helen worked for Defense Depot Ogden, Hill Air Force Base and the railroad.

Surviving are her brothers, Earl Larson, Ogden; Clarence Larson, Porterville, CA; sister, Donna Jean Weatherspoon, Ogden; and her niece, Joan Irene Morten, Portland, OR.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, David LeRoy Larson, John Erick Larson, Joseph Franklin Larson, sister-in-law, Ann Larson, and brother-in-law, Charles Weatherspoon.

The family expresses thanks to Horizon Hospice staff Holly, Shanna and Denise, and to the nurses and staff at Washington Terrace Nursing Center. We will miss you!.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
