Hellen Marston Horne Holyoak

Mom completed her earthly mission and peacefully returned to her loving Heavenly Father August 24, 2013.

Mom was born in 1934 to Myron and Mary Layton Marston in Layton, Utah. In 1953 she married Darrell Horne. Together they had one son Rick (Shirley) Horne and were later divorced. In 1961 mom married Curtis Holyoak. Together they had one daughter Shelly Holyoak Visarraga and one son Allan Holyoak.

Mom was active in the LDS Church. She loved reading and embroidery.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Allan and grandson, Neil L. Redford III.

She is survived by her three children, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers, Doug and Joe Dye, and three sisters Darlla, Lynda, and Debra.

Thanks to all that were involved with mom''s care and comfort.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 30, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Morgan City Cemetery.
