Hendrikus Roest

The Lord took our dear father, Opa, and Great Opa, to heaven to be reunited with the love of his life, Maria.

He was born on January 25, 1931 in Baarn, Netherlands to Antonius and Margaretha Roest.

He came to the United States on May 5, 1955. He married Maria Mutsaers on September 29, 1962.

Hank leaves behind seven children, Hank and Robyn Roest, WA; Jerry and Debbie Roest, Ogden; Margaret and Paul Burkley, WA; Theresa and Mike Duncan, West Point; and Robert and Debbi Roest, TX; Tony and Sunny Roest, Roy; and AJ Roest and Julianne Harris, Smithfield; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Dad is the 13th child of 15. He is survived by four sisters, and one brother, who reside in Europe.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
